Sweet Purple®
Sweet Purple is a hardy sativa, bred to thrive in moderate climates where weather conditions carry a risk of disease and mold. This strain is also popular with those looking for a more mellow smoke. This plant comes with a taste that is sweet, together with an enjoyable spicy hint. A good all-rounder, this sturdy plant is low maintenance and has excellent mold, pest and disease resistance qualities. With Thai in its genes, this plant produces distinctive purple flowers and buds that are long and well-formed. Indoors, this isn’t the best variety to grow, not recommended. Outdoors, however, Sweet Purple will thrive in places where many strains will not and for this reason it is a very popular choice with outside gardeners in regions further north where the damp and cold dominate the climate. Suitable for growing outside between 55° N and 55° S, Sweet Purple is ready for harvest as early as the end of September (N. lat.) and after 7–8 weeks indoors.
