Alaskan Ice
Looking at the name Alaskan Ice it is not really a hint as to what genetics have been used to create this variety. But once you see the resin production you will most likely instantly know or at least suspect one of the parents must be a member of the White family. And indeed, Greenhouse Seeds crossed their White Widow with Haze and therewith gave birth to a very potent and high yielding variety.
Alaskan Ice is a tall and branchy plant that responds very well to LST (Low Stress Training) and performs great in a ScrOG setup. Reared indoors she has the potential to yield in the range of up to 700-800g/m² within 9 weeks of flowering - which is relatively fast when one considers the Sativa share in the genetics. Grown outdoors, Alaskan Ice has the potential to yield up to 1kg; provided you fed her well and let her grow to a fully developed specimen of up to 2.5 meters. She is quite resistant to botrytis and pests.
The buds of Alaskan Ice are impressively large and riddled with tons of orange to rust-colored pistils. The resin production is extraordinary, making her a highly sought after variety by hash and BHO producers. And not only the yield is awe-inspiring, the potency is remarkable. The first effects you will feel are caused by the high THC level of 21%, triggering an euphoric rush, but then the White Widow influence comes on and adds a sweet relaxation and pain-killing effect to the sensation.
